Sam Lee

Senior Director, Data and Technology Operations

Sam (she/her) is a collaborative and people-centric technology and operations leader with over 20 years of experience working across a range of sectors in London and New York City.

She’s skilled in technical project and team management, expertise gained from a strong mix of professional experience and Master’s degree in Computing Science from Imperial College, London. Sam has a passion for helping mission-driven organizations to effectively use technology to advance social justice and amplify positive change.
Sam strives to contribute to her local community wherever she lands, and has volunteered for HEBA Women’s Project and Crisis UK in London, as well as JHsci in Queens, NY. Her time at HEBA, working alongside undocumented immigrants in East London cultivated her drive to work with communities and youth of Color.

Sam is of Chinese ancestry, hails from Malaysia, raised in London and now resides on land originally protected by the Munsee Lenape and Wappinger people (Chappaqua, NY). Her moves around the world have shaped her life view and she is grateful to her ancestors for their struggles and their strength.

Sam has a love of learning and is honored to be working toward G4GC’s mission.
